What do you love reading and why?

11-14 year olds are notorious for not reading properly. I want you to blog about what you love reading and why, whether it's magazines, computer manuals, poetry, novels, or sports pages. You need to respond to this post by saying what you love reading and why. If you don't like reading you need to explain why you don't.

Here's a video from a book enthusiast who is recommending various Halloween themed books.

I recommend the book A Series of Unfortunate Events The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket. I recommend this book to people who really enjoy mysterious books. I recommend this book to people between the ages of 9-13. I really enjoyed this book because it always left me in suspense and I never knew what was going to happen. I also really liked this book as I always wanted to read it and never put it down as the storyline was so unpredictable. Cara Robertson 7.7

I'm reading the Hunger Games Mockingjay and its the third in the Hunger Games series. This book is about the rebellion of the districts against the capitol and the war between them, with Katniss as their leader. Its started off describing where the rebels are hiding and what they are planning to do, there are also new characters in it, its wrote from the point of Katniss Everdeen the main character who is a girl from district 12 who in the first book; won the hunger games along with Peeta another main character in the book and it looks like its going to be a climatic finale.

Hello my name is Daniel Ikeji I'm reading Jason and the Argonauts. This book is about a man named Jason who has been prophesied to take the throne of Thessaly. When he saves Pelias from drowning, but does not recognize him as the man who had earlier killed his father, Pelias tells Jason to travel to Colchis to find the Golden Fleece. Jason follows his advice and assembles a sailing crew of the finest men in Greece, including Hercules. They are under the protection of Hera, queen of the gods. Their voyage is replete with battles against harpies. the crew hear about the mission which was failed and ended up with everyone dying, so they went on the mission and had alot of hard time. Their pilot died and they had to find a new one and a girl was forced to kill her brother when she didn't even have to.
